The College of Life Sciences was authorized as one of National Training Base of Basic Discipline in 2008, the Basic Discipline Training Program for Top-notch Students in 2009, the National First-class Undergraduate Specialty Construction Point in 2019.
Bioscience is an integrated course combining chemistry, biology and medicine, using the academic methods of modern chemistry and biology to process research on the structure, nature, function, metabolism, the control mechanisms of important substance (such as DNA, proteins, enzymes, carbohydrates, peptides, etc.) at the molecular level to reveal the essential phenomena of life. Through the teaching of Biological Science Series and training of laboratory skills, we culture the technical and managerial personnels with a solid biological science, related disciplines' theory, the realization of bioscience development, good knowledge about science and innovation capability.
